Gleneagles added padel to its famous Perthshire sporting estate in August 2024, building three indoor courts including a dedicated singles academy court. As part of the five-star Gleneagles hotel and resort, the facility caters mainly to hotel guests and club members rather than casual walk-in players, with court hire running roughly fifty to seventy pounds an hour. It sits alongside the resort’s golf courses, shooting and falconry as one more string to Gleneagles’ sporting offer, and represents one of the more upmarket ends of Scotland’s fast-growing padel scene.
