Kilmarnock Tennis Club (Howard Park)

Opened in August 2024, the Kilmarnock Tennis Club site in leafy Howard Park brought the first padel and pickleball courts to East Ayrshire as part of a roughly GBP350,000 community project supported by the LTA, sportscotland and the local council. The single all-weather padel court is floodlit and runs entirely on a pay-and-play basis, with no membership needed. Players book online through ClubSpark and receive a PIN to open the smart gate on arrival, and equipment can be borrowed free of charge. The court is available daily from 8am to 10pm, sitting alongside two floodlit tennis courts.
