Former York City footballer Andy McMillan opened Casa Del Padel at Malton Enterprise Park in May 2025, bringing two glass-walled indoor courts to North Yorkshire alongside a golf simulator and an on-site cafe, The Blu Fig. Coaching runs through the week with named instructors bookable via Playtomic, and CasaClub membership tiers knock a fifth off court fees for regulars, though casual pay-and-play works just as well. Free parking, lockers and equipment hire are all on site. The design draws deliberately on Spanish padel-club culture, aiming for a social hub rather than just four walls and a net.
